Professor Guy Lemieux serves as Chief Technical Advisor and is a well-known expert in the field of reconfigurable computer hardware and software compilers. As an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia (“UBC”), he brings over 19 years of academic research to the company. He’s also been a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK, a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney, Australia and a Researcher at Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Lemieux is the author or co-author of over 65 technical papers and 1 textbook. He received a Best Paper Award at the 2004 IEEE International Conference on Field-Programmable Technology, a Bronze Leaf Certificate paper award at the 2008 CMC Microsystems and Nanoelectronics Research Conference, and 3 Best Paper nominations in international conferences. One of his papers was included in the Top 25 papers of the Past 20 Years of the International Symposium on FPGAs.
